Do you have Start Dates that you're using?
If you have a start date on a task and just move the due date without moving the start date, then it would turn into a multiday (the start date is the first day of the task, the due date is the last day of the task). |

For the Legacy Android app, we have an update in review with Google right now which should go out in the next day or two.
As a workaround, you can go to your Android Settings app, -> Apps -> find the Toodledo app (make sure you're clicking on the legacy app) -> scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Alarms & Reminders" then toggle "Allow settings alarms and reminders". This should stop the crashing. We will have an update out for the new Android app this week. To view your start date, please to to settings -> Fields & Defaults -> Field Display order, and just drag "Start Date" to the top of the list.

Your browser only continued to work after changing passwords because it was in the same browser, on the same session where you were making the password change. If you log in via *another* web browser (or in a separate Incognito window) you will see that changes won't propagate in either direction and as soon as you try to click to another page (eg from Tasks to Lists), you're redirected to a login page.

In build 26, you should be able to use that custom search as your hotlist -- it syncs with whatever you have set on the web, so if you have set that custom search on the web you should see that as the hotlist on the app.
Re: additional bulk options, we will add Context & start date and keep the repeat indicator. |

I did a search in the beta iOS app. I then modified on the PC one of the tasks that was in the the search results. I then closed my browser and went off and did something else. Later when I opened Toodledo on the phone (with the search results still showing) I opened (on the phone) the task that I had modified (on the PC). It briefly showed the modification (I had added a URL in the note so it was really obvious), but it then reverted to the older version of the task. I suspect it decided to auto-sync shortly after I viewed the task and that was when it reverted to old contents. So it appears that the iOS app doesn't actually sync and pays no attention to last modified times (edit: or maybe merely viewing a task on the search results page cause it to be flagged as "modified" even though there are no changes made). While this may be an edge case (possibly only occurring when the iOS app is showing search results) it is nevertheless a major bug and needs to be looked at ASAP. I have had several instances where changes have mysteriously disappeared, now I think I know at least one of the root causes. Please take a look. Thanks for letting us know about this -- I tried the steps you mentioned and was able to repro this and we're working on a fix. The sync does pay attention to last modified times, and viewing the task shouldn't cause it to be modified, but we will track down the exact cause. When I go to https://www.toodledo.com/tasks/ it loads just fine, but the sync is messed up and it says I have uncompleted tasks from December of 2022. I wish that there was some sort of chatbot who could help me with this instead of just hoping that someone answers this post, it's been going on for about a month, I even switched to another app because I couldn't stand it, but I want my old Toodledo back! Are you enabling the setting here "Save sort preferences on a per-list basis": https://www.toodledo.com/account_edit.php?edit=22
It should also save your eyeball menu preferences, but note that this is for list type (e.g. all Folders get the same settings, all dates, etc). Are you wanting for each folder to have it's own setting just like the sort? This message was edited Oct 10, 2023. |
