I'm trying to repeat a task on the first weekday of every month but I can't seem to find a way. Am I missing something or is this not possible? |

I was wondering how I can view subtasks in a list, indented, even if the parent is not due on the same day. Currently, the way I have it set, when I choose to view subtasks as indented, with due dates, they are sorted based on parent due date. So when a child task is due today but the parent is only due next week, I won't see it until I scroll down to the tasks that are due next week. I could go around this by choosing to show subtasks inline and sort by due date and then manually click each task/subtask icon to group them together but since I use several views throughout the day and have several parent tasks, I would love an easier way. Is it possible to sort by due date of the child test and still show indented? |

I was wondering if there is a way to repeat a task without a day attached to it? For example, say I have a task without a due date. I would like it to repeat (also without a due date) when I check it off. I guess one way would be to clone the task before I check it off but I would like to be automatic if possible. Is this possible and how would I go about it? |

Actually, I found a better solution after playing around a bit.
I created a Search and set Due Date Is Before Sunday It seems to work well and I'm in the second week. It only seems to show tasks that are due before Sunday. Problem solved! |

Is there a way to create a search for tasks that are due this week? So far, the closest I can find is to create a task that is due in the next X days but this would mean that new tasks gets added after each day. I'd just like to see tasks that are due this week so when Friday comes, I can easily see what I have left. Also, what is the difference between tasks due in and due in the next? Thank you! |

I've been using Toodletasks on 3 devices and noticed that I have been getting the Excessive Token Error a lot today. I've been using this same setup for a while now so not sure if Toodledo made any changes on the back end today? |

Its pretty much the same as the website. If I could use full syntax, which is supported in email, I dont see why it could not be added in the full site

Is there an easier way to add a new task? I remembered on RTM, they had a feature where you could tyoe the task and add context, due dates and all with different symbols. I think this is an email feature of Toodledo but will it be implemented in the web site? |

I can search for a specific task and it will show that the task is assigned to a folder (Home, Work, etc..) but I can not seem to find a way to view all tasks within a folder. This is a problem as I have established folders for grouping like tasks, rather than always using projects. Has anyone found a way to look for all tasks in folder view? Not sure what you mean as I am able to view all tasks in any folder. Ensure that you do not have any status or context filters turned on. |

It could very well be a 3rd party app issue. If you setup some fake tasks and test it on this website, you will see what happens. Yes, it looks to be caused by the third party app. Another reason why Toodledo needs to have an Android app :) Please, please, please, please, please come out with one :) |

When you check off a repeating parent, only those subtasks marked "repeat with parent" and those with "no repeat" will be auto checked off. Any subtasks with different repeats will not get checked. It's pretty easy to test. Setup your parent and subtasks with repeats, but keep them as "repeat from due date". Then you can repeatedly check them off and see how it works. If satisfied, change back to the proper due dates and edit to "repeat from completion date" (I'm assuming that's what you want.) Yes, that is exactly how I want it to work. If it does, that is awesome. I did set it up that way and when I checked, it did not work as you mentioned. I thought it was a 3rd party app (am using DGT GTD) issue but also wanted to check with other users here as well. Will have to verify it again. |

I think the subtask documentation will explain it pretty well: http://www.toodledo.com/info/subtasks.php Repeating subtasks will only be marked as completed if they are set to "Repeat with parent" which uses the parent's frequency. Since you need different frequencies, your best option is to check off the subtasks first and then the parent. I've read that but I'm not sure. In this case, my child task has a longer lead time (3 months before the next event) than the parent tasK (which happens every week). So I would only be marking the child complete once every 3 months. In that same time frame, I would have marked the parent complete 12 times. As such, how would it be if I were to mark of the parent after completing it but not the child since it is not yet due? Will the child be carried forward with the due date that it's always had or will it change since I marked the parent complete? |

I am keen on creating several parent tasks where each has several child tasks with various repeat frequency. For example, I have a task to clean aquarium which needs to be done every week and is the parent tasks. I have 4 child tasks with the following repeat frequency: - change water (weekly) - change sponge (monthly) - change carbon (bimonthly) - change biomax (quaterly) If I had a repeat function tied to the parent task (which is weekly) and I mark that parent task as complete, I understand that it marks all child tasks as complete. Does that mean any due date I have set for those child tasks (which I didn't complete) will be marked as completed and repeated based on their frequency? Or will they just be carried over to the newly created parent tasks with their original due dates I had set? Thank you. |

Good Day!
Is there any plans to show/hide certain statuses? At this moment, the option exists for tags and contexts and would be really useful for Statuses too. Like on a project, I'd like to know what is still on Hold or what I am Waiting for. Currently, Statuses are lumped into Active and Deferred and while I can use Deferred, it hides some of those that I need as well. Thank you! |
