How to trigger multiple tasks when a particular task gets completed, automatically.
I would like to have auto trigger mechanism. By completing one task, I want N tasks to be set to Next Action or some other action. I would like to have a link, by which I can map a task to wait on a particular task. For e.g. A number of activities could be waiting for the computer to get ready. However repairing the computer itself could be a subtask or main task. When I have a task to scan a particular document, I can make it as waiting, and the waiting can be computer repair task. Once I mark the computer repair task, the scan task should become active or next action depending on my setting. Is this feasible now? |

Can this be added to feature request (i.e) summation of timer and length in a multigroup sorting situation.
Thanks Vel |

Posted Dec 08, 2010 in: How to search tasks whose timer alone started today?
Score: 0
I tried the following,
Timer is more than 0.01 + date modified in the last one day it lists all the tasks which is modified till yesterday --------------------------------------------- Timer is more than 0.01 + date modified in the last 0 day gives no result --------------------------------------- Timer is more than 0.01 + date modified is 8th Dec, 2010 gives the task that were added or content changed only today (8th Dec, 2010) ----------------------------------- What I want is can I list down all the tasks that I have started timer today (even if the task was modified years back) Is my query clear? Score: 2
In the settings we can choose what fields/function we want to display globally for all views.
I would like to have this fields/functions to be set per view. For e.g. in Folder view, it would be redundant to have folders again listed as a column. I can choose the appropriate folder tab to see the tasks in that folder. Is this a new feature request? Is there a workaround for this facility? Thanks and Regards, Mathyvel |

Oops... Just noticed that there is workaround suggested by either using Priority or Tags (1,2,3 etc) or both in conjunction with Folders, context. Would try out with Priority.. Regards Mathyvel The other forum link where I picked up the suggestion is http://www.toodledo.com/forums/5/489/-2271/next-actions.html |

Hi
Am a newbie to both toodledo and GTD (got hooked to GTD thanks to toodledo and bought Allen's first book, just started reading).. I searched for ways to add predecessor/successor to a task. Looks like there was a previous request for similar feature way back in 2008. Meanwhile is there a workaround to have predecessor/successor to tasks? Thanks and Regards, Mathyvel |
