that is the whole point..I do not need location.. all we need is a context that I can assign a location to. Context should be used much more often so once you assign context that is location-aware you are good to go, right?

I think this really needs to happen: linking locations to context.. less time spend on entering data.. no reason to enter location separately imo
Thank you |

I have to say that once I installed Chrome extension: Toodledo - clean blue theme by PeterW I was happy with overall design.
Sure it could be better but I would take a better task sharing functionality any day over re-designing UI. |

I have to chime in too.. I like the product and simple UI as well. Having Appigo keeps me happy with TD
I still think that several ideas could be borrowed from application like gqueues.com that has a very nice integration with Google Calendar (both ways) and very good collaboration/sharing engine. Toodledo, just give me a better sharing/collaborating functionality pleeeeaase :-) |

This reply from Toodledo is very generic and this is they way he replies to most of the 'new feature' request topics..

I would suggest that we borrow the way is being handled from

what is the reason for disappearing tasks once assigned to another party?
|

So once I assign/reassign a task - it's gone? and if so, is there a way to monitor progress?

I am not very experienced with TD hence this question. I have 40- 50 mini projects each with 1-5 tasks at any given time.
I am little bit perplex whether I should represent projects as folders or tasks w/subtasks I will be sharing/assigning tasks to others as well, and it seems to me that folders are working better with sharing. Can I assign/share just one task with another user? or do I have to share a folder structure? I would like to hear your opinion: should I go with folders or tasks/subtasks? what are the pros/cons? Thank you |
PKJR |
When you click on Goals, there is a column tasks that shows number of tasks assigned to your every goal
|
PKJR |
still it would be nice to categorize them as templates and not worry about filtering or not filtering them..
|
PKJR |
as a new user I feel the same..Projects and more Projects.. you can only do so much with tasks

Being a newbie here so correct me if I am wrong, but if I follow the link and do as described, will have all those template items listed as well including 20 tasks being shown throughout TD?
perhaps some tasks could be marked as templates and therefore hidden from being displayed? |

How likely is to see a very simple Gannt Chart implementation within Toodledo?
Thank you |
