I am use Toodeldo because it was the only GTD tool that had a deceent Android app. I think NirvanaHQ looks great (better), but with no Android app, I won't use it (waiting with baited breath for the Android App). If GotToDo keeps developing (tags?), it would keep me with Toodledo. If the app falls behind, I jump ship!

So what did you arrive at?

I just read this in the Toodledo help page:
Subtasks are a convenient way to organize projects and tasks that have multiple steps. In GTD-speak, a project is a task with more than one step. I agree with the others here, that a folder or task/sub-task is what you want it to be. I am in the throes of deciding how I will do things, myself. |

Thanks very much for this! I'm a bit torn about the folders and projects. I am thinking I might want to use tasks as projects and sub-tasks as tasks, but intuitively the folders=projects seems best (which is what you are doing).
I am on the fence between another GTD app, Doit.im, and TD. TD seems to be much more dynamic, and Got to Do is great and alive. Just a matter of me getting comfortable with a single system. |
