I was adding a long list of new tasks using "Add multiple tasks."
I had multiple IE windows open, and was flipping back and forth doing research as i typed in my new tasks (trying to close some of them before I entered them). With the incomplete list open in one window, I left that window for maybe 5 minutes, tops. When I returned to my Toodledo window -- I was no longer in "add multiple tasks," and none of my tasks were added, and they were all gone. I have to recreate them from memory. Is there a timeout on this screen, of some sort? |

Websites do that. They have to, just at the time you were thinking the day has gone great so far. :)
Use Firefox, dump IE and install "Lazarus Form Recovery" add-on to that, which is made of such half an hour losses due to session expiration or browser crashes. :) |

We do not have a timeout on this screen. It should have remained open. I don't really know what happened, but I suspect that you clicked the cancel button by accident, or accidentally closed the wrong window in all your flipping back and forth.
