maybe a basic question, but I previously purchased the iphone app and now want to upgrade to latest version. can i do this without paying for it? when I got to the app store, i only see a way to buy a new app.

Yes, all upgrades are free. In the App store, there is a section for apps that have pending updates. Or you can just download it again. It won't charge you twice.

For some reason, the App Store would not indicate that there was an upgrade available - not sure why. But, if you 'buy' the app again, you'll get a message that it's free since you already own a previous version.
