This is not going to be possible because authentication of the task edit would be difficult. Since anyone with your secret email address could edit your tasks, this could cause problems. In order to authenticate the edit, you would need to put your password into the email, which isnt secure.
Instead were are going to try to make it quicker to access tasks from the website or from mobile apps, so that you don't have to use email. |

Why couldn't you set it up so changes can only be made from email addresses specified by the user. 'Remember The Milk' at least allows to complete a task from twitter.
I currently rely on the email feature a lot. It really should be expanded with more functionality. |

The "from" address of an email can be faked easily, so it is not a secure method of authentication.
Twitter could work. I'll look into that |
