I want to be able to hide certain fields in the grid view as I don't need to see them in a list (e.g. repeat) but still have access to those fields when I set up a new task. Unless I'm mistaken, that doesn't seem to be possible.

If it's not currently possible, please consider making the options for showing and hiding fields different for viewing vs. adding a task.

It is not currently possible. I'd bet money it's on "the list".

As long as the Grid View is the default, then you can't show a field and hide it at the same time.
Multi-line View could be the answer if it showed three or four fields -- the other fields are available when you click on the task. But, for now, it shows only two fields.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible, but it is on our to-do list. However, we can't comment on a timeframe for implementation.
