Create a search for tasks due this week

Good day
Is there a way to create a search for tasks that are due this week? So far, the closest I can find is to create a task that is due in the next X days but this would mean that new tasks gets added after each day. I'd just like to see tasks that are due this week so when Friday comes, I can easily see what I have left. Also, what is the difference between tasks due in and due in the next? Thank you! |

"due in 4 days" means tasks due exactly 4 days from now.
"due in the next 4 days" means tasks due 1,2,3, or 4 days from now. There is no way that I can think of to have a list that is tasks due this week, that stops at Friday and then automatically resets to next friday when friday passes. If you are ok manually resetting it each week, you can do: "Tasks due after ---" AND "tasks due before ---" where you fill in the dates from the calendar popup. |

Or, if you only use it on Friday, create a saved search for tasks due in the last 7 days. On Fridays, that will be the past week.

Actually, I found a better solution after playing around a bit.
I created a Search and set Due Date Is Before Sunday It seems to work well and I'm in the second week. It only seems to show tasks that are due before Sunday. Problem solved! |
