Multi-Edit Problem in Chrome(ium)

I'm using Chromium in Ubuntu 12.04LTS and just noticed a problem with multi-edit. When I attempt to change context in multi-edit, I can check the context line, but when I click the pull-down it displays briefly then closes. No such problem with, e.g., changing the due date. Also doesn't happen in Firefox.

Anybody know a possible reason/fix for this behavior?

We do not test our website in Ubuntu, but we have received a few of these bug reports and looked into it enough to know that it is a bug with Chrome on Ubuntu. We do not currently support this browser/os combination. Sorry.

@docpat2511: it's just for only this reason that I decided not to switch to Chrome/Chromium... :-(

Then please update your FAQ to indicate you do not support the versions of browsers listed in whatever specific browser / OS combinations you exclude.
