It would be helpful if the search feature would allow you to search past completed tasks so the information stored in their notes can be retrieved.
I have a PRO account and can't see any old tasks except those considereed "recent" |

You can do this from our search page. Select "Search" from the View By section on the task page.

Yes, searches are planned for a future iOS update.

I think it would be much more intuitive to have they "Show" check box simply include "completed" or not rather than "recently completed."

For people who have been using Toodledo for years, this would be a lot of completed tasks to show. The vast majority of uses involve looking at tasks completed recently, which is why we provide this option. To view your older tasks, you can find them on the search page.
