Hi all,
I was wondering the following. Is it possible to make a If statement in a search? I have my 'focus' search.. Which list my todo's on which i'm focusing this week! What I was thinking about is the following! Is it possible to create a search "if today is saturday --> include tag="House Chores" Is it a possibility? Bart |

Toodledo can do complex searches.
And, all searches have an implied "If statement". You want a search based on "If today is Saturday". That's not possible in Toodledo. You can, though, create a task that repeats "every Saturday". See: How do repeating task work?. |

I agree. Toodledo can do complex searches, been using it for years now.
The repeated tasks will not work for me. Just thought I would ask it first before I would give up on the idea! Thanks! |

Write your search for each day/lcoation whatever you are focusing on. Yup, means more searches but gets you want you want.
E.G. for your example: SAT-FOCUS (search name) Tag=House Chores OR Due Date = Today OR whatever else will fill your Sat search. Hope that helps. |
