When showing nested tasks with subtasks, an additional line is shown with the green + buuton and the text 'add subtask'
Would it be possible to move the green + on the line of the parent task and drop te text? This saves some screen.. If you put it behind the checkbox and before the star, this would allign the star icons as well (this icon could also be placed on tasks that are not yet nested, allowing them to add their first subtask as well) This message was edited Apr 24, 2009. |

Today it is too difficult adding a sub-task when there is no sub-task already. If there is a sub-task already you can click the "add subtask" button. If there is no sub-task you have to, as far as I can see, add a task and drag it to add a task.
So, if we get a + on the task, make it appear on every task. |

Toodledo: Please make subtasks more user friendly! A keyboard shortcut to add a subtask would be nice. Hitting the <Enter> key and then <tab> to make a new subtask would be even better. Or <Ctrl> <left>/<right> arrow to promote/demote. Subtasks are a great idea but implementation could be much better.

+1 for morkmemo - Essential. Added functionality as suggested by bbewn (similar to Gmail's tasks and sub-tasks) would be great in slim mode.
