I think, it will be very usefull to have the ability to create link to the page with task in one context. Now we can only create link to the page with all context. It is not very convinient, because I want to see task fast for my current context and does not want to see unrelevant information.

you can set the default view in your account setting.
If you set the "context" as your defult view, every time when you log into toodledo, you will see the last context you used directly. |

Yes, and if Context is your default view, any particular context is only 1 click away. Also check out the keyboard shortcuts that you can enable in Account Settings. They allow very fast navigation between views and tabs within views.

Thank you for the answers. I can also create bookmark to http://www.toodledo.com/views/context.php
to view contexts. When you are on PC you can navigate fast between different view. But when you are on the phone with slow GPRS connection and a lot of tasks, navigation become slow. Toodledo is software that I want to use very very often. But when my task list became large it is not convenient to use it on the phone. Although I can walkaround this with gate page and scripts, I think it would be a nice feature to have the ability to bookmark page with context and may be other pages. For when you are using Toodledo on your phone browser, are you aware of the slim and html sites? They are much better for mobile use than the full site.
http://www.toodledo.com/slim/ http://www.toodledo.com/html/ I am also fairly certain you can create links to specific contexts on those sites. This message was edited May 25, 2009. |

Thank you very much, Anders. Your answer helped me.
I used http://www.toodledo.com/html/ but did not noticed that I can bookmark to certain context. I thought it does not allow bookmarking like site for PC. Also I tryed http://www.toodledo.com/slim/. Although slim site looks very nice on PC, I cannot use it on my nokia phone with 240x320 display in opera browser, because the tasks list is croped. |
