I occasionally have a task that I want to repeat (once every couple weeks). But this is a rare occurence and I don't want the repeat field cluttering the UI and becoming an extra field in the majority of my tasks.
If I enable the repeat field in my account settings, add the task, set it to repeat, then disable the repeat field, will it still repeat? Or do I need to have this field enabled for repeat to work? Thanks. |

Almost positive that the task will repeat whether or not you've chosen to display the Repeat field.
Let's see what Jake and Anders say. |

Yes, it will work if a repeat is set whether or not the repeat field is active.

Nice. That solves my problem. Although, I have often thought it would be great to have an "Advanced Options" when entering a task to be able to add properties that are not visible by default.
What do you think? |

I think that would be great. Toodledo has even posted that they would like to be able to use certain fields only occasionally, so perhaps it will be possible at some point.
