Not automatically. You would need to delete it instead of checking it.

Thanks. Guess I'll stick to my grocery list app. I'm finding that the paid version of this app isn't better than the free one.

FWIW, take a look at Advanced Search and Batch Edit.
You can create shopping lists and delete all completed items. Also, one of the main advantages of the paid (Silver) version is that you can create subtasks, which can make it easier to track a complex list of tasks. |
