Loving Toodledo! It has changed my work life significantly, in combination with the TRO methodology.
FR: I want the notes field to NOT auto-scroll to the bottom when I open it, so that I can easily work with the more important information I keep near the top of the note.
Details:
I have some tasks with very long notes.
I often use notes field to hold something that looks like the below with next steps near the top , and completed stuff at the bottom. (see sample below)
Generally when I open the notes I want to edit some of the information near the top (next/reference). However since the field auto-scrolls to the bottom upon opening, if my nots are too long then I have to scroll back to the top to do this.
If you think of the notes as a doc, then opening a doc and auto-scrolling to the bottom wouldn't be intuitive. I could see how other people always want to add stuff to the bottom of the notes field, so auto-scrolling would be annoying.
Not sure how you resolve these 2 conflicting user desires, aside from putting an option "auto scroll notes to bottom"
