Is there a quick way to modify folder name or add folder while on the main task menu. As I am adding tasks I often think of new projects (folders) that I need or find I need to change name of project. Ideas?

I don't know about any way to rename/add folder other than in Organize/Folders in settings. (I could imagine something in case of a complete revamp, like exporting data, completely rename folder fields for these tasks and import it back, but that is not what you are asking for:-) ). So I would suggest to bring this up on Help/Feature Requests.

There was such feature in the old layout of Tasks section (you can add there new folder while creatimg new tasks). Unfortunatelly in new layout it's not the case anymore. So the possible option is to switch to old layout.
