I can't add notes to new tasks or tasks without notes. The notes button is disabled.
However, I can add more text into notes for tasks that already have notes. |

I found a work around. If you see a blue flag in the lower right corner, you can change to the new layout.
Inside the new layout, I was able to add the note that I need. |

As far as I know, the old layout is just a legacy that is not further developed, so any fixes to that are highly improbable.

If that was your issue, you can go to Profile & Settings/Tasks/Default Views/Task Section Version and set it to New (tasks.toodledo.com). Also, if you are using a bookmark in your browser, make sure you have it set either to www.toodledo.com or tasks.toodledo.com, and not to www.toodledo.com/tasks, because that would give you the old layout regardless of your settings!
