I've been using Reminders from the iphone syncing with Toodledo.
It seems to work fine with Toodledo features.
However I recently saw that when a task is completed in Reminders it doesn't get marked completed in Toodledo, thereby leaving a large number of
tasks that are completed still open.

Are you on basic plan? If so the new basic plan doesn't work with third party apps.
If on paid plan I have seen where marking complete does not always mark complete online but I never figured out why. It's a bug that comes and goes. I haven't seen it for awhile though.
