I email most tasks (BCC) into Toodledo and this works great for me. The only downside, however, is that when I go into a the task in TD, there is no date there (as you'd expect) and I would need to write this in manually. Is there a way which I can simply click into the notes section of the task and then do something which will then enter a date?
(There seems to be something like this for the notes section of the programme) |

Any assistance here, please?

I assume you are using Windows.
If so try AutoHotkey here: https://www.autohotkey.com/ This is a free application that you download and install. You then use it to create a script that enters the date and then create a keyboard shortcut that points to where the script is saved. There's plenty of guidance and help on their website. |

Try adding through IFTTT where you can set default due date

I don't know if this fits with your workflow, but you can add a default date of "Today", "Tomorrow", "In Two Days", "Next Week" or "Next Month" to new tasks (including tasks that you have emailed).
https://www.toodledo.com/account_edit.php?edit=18 This will add a default to ALL new tasks, however, which may or may not work for you. |
