I enabled this but when I tried to access the app, it would not let me in. Can 2FA be used with the app?

Unfortunately, the current apps don't support 2FA (the new ones we are working on will).
If you have 2FA turned on, you'll need to generate an app-specific password that you can use to login.
See this page for more details, and to generate the password.

You'll need a separate password for each app that you use.
