Until this is available, you may be interested in the desktop solutions created by some other Toodledoers discussed in this thread and elsewhere: http://www.toodledo.com/forums/3/1671/0/simple-lightweight-desktop-client-for-windows.html
I really liked the Toodledo Distraction Free program, but am going to try the Prism idea. |

This is still on our to-do list. You might try one of the alternatives that Anders pointed to.

I would like to note that I, too, really want this feature.

I am planning to take a shot at creating a Google Desktop gadget myself because it looks like something I could do. Unfortunately, I just haven't had any time lately.

I vote for this too. A Google Desktop gadget or Windows Sidebar gadget would be very helpful.
Edit: Actually, the related solution posted by Proximo in this thread works well enough for me: http://www.toodledo.com/forums/3/1664/-18504/toodledo-slim-application.html This message was edited Oct 01, 2009. |

not sure if this got answered.. it probably did. but in the google 'add gadgets page'( where you pick the widgets for your desktop sidebar)
under "search gadgets", I put the google gmail/calendar 'add link by url' used for toodledo: http://www.toodledo.com/widget/gmail.php and an option came up to add it, so I clicked on it and did that. I had to log in, then voila... it was awesome! |
