Cannot add new tasks with Iphone ?

I can add new tasks quite nicely with my web browser (Safari 3.1.2). I am running the news OSX 10.5.4. And as such, when I try to add a new task and hit the 'add task' button, nothing happens. Being new to Toddledo, has this always been the way the iPhone and Toodledo work or is the new since the latest round of Apple upgrades?

Too awesome. Why did I miss this? Is there somewhere I c/have clicked that sez iPhone users? Once U are logged in, it is nowhere to be found :( THX for a great product.
