OpenID login to apple widget

I am a newb user to Toodledo, and just created my account with my nifty OpenID (thanks for supporting open standards!) but when I went to login to the apple widget I downloaded, it didn't seem like using openID was an option.
Is there a workaround or am I just stuck?
Never mind, apparently I am still able to create and use a password in the account settings.

Yes, a regular email/password combo is needed for certain things like the widgets and the firefox addon.
