So I have made this saved search which searches for items marked as Planning which has no Next Action as a subtask.
I use this for my weekly review, to find projects that are missing actions. Unfortunately I don't think I can make a search for Planning status things that has no Next Action as subtask OR the is a Next Action as subtask but the subtask is marked as completed. Do any of you have a suggestion of how I can get around this? Or an alternate way of doing it, so it would fit the bill would be highly appreciated. PS. i use the Planning status to indicate they are a Project, since i input and complete projects on the fly so often it would be cumbersome to make a folder for each. |

I think I understand what you are trying to do, but it isn't currently possible to search for parent tasks based on criteria in their subtasks.
