Outlook Sync Not Working

Hi. I have used toodledo for a while and the outlook sync worked for me before; but for some reason recently (3 or 4 months ago), it just stopped working. I re-downloaded the Toodledo Sync for Outlook, yet nothing.
Every time I do 'manual sync', this is what I get in diagnostics: SyncApp.exe Information: 0 : SyncApp.exe Information: 0 : SyncApp.exe Information: 0 : ---------------------------------------------------- SyncApp.exe Information: 0 : ToodledoSyncApp Version 1.0.1.6 SyncApp.exe Information: 0 : Please do not post these trace logs to the Toodledo Forums SyncApp.exe Information: 0 : ---------------------------------------------------- SyncApp.exe Information: 0 : SynchLib:Synchronize() method called SyncApp.exe Information: 0 : ToodleProxy: Auth token is 9.50 minutes old, 220.50 remaining SyncApp.exe Information: 0 : ToodleProxy: Auth token is 9.50 minutes old, 220.50 remaining ToodledoClientLib Information: 0 : ToodleClientLib:sendHttpRequest:Request=[http://api.toodledo.com/api.php?method=getServerInfo;key=cd cc3634e5695a939b961524dad2c8a4] ToodledoClientLib Information: 0 : ToodleClientLib:sendHttpRequest:Response=[<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <server> <unixtime>1266384554</unixtime> <date>Wed, 17 Feb 2010 00:29:14 -0500</date> <serveroffset>-18000</serveroffset> <tokenexpires>235.4</tokenexpires> </server> ] SyncApp.exe Information: 0 : TaskProcessor:calcServerDateAdjust() server time difference is 61 minutes (including 1 minute offset) SyncApp.exe Information: 0 : SynchLib:LoadSyncInfo() load sync records SyncApp.exe Error: 0 : Error during synchronization: Unable to load sync record from database file at SynchLib.Common.DAL.SyncInfoManager.LoadSyncInformation() at SynchLib.SyncTool.LoadSyncInfo() at SynchLib.SyncTool.Synchronize() at SyncApp.frmMain.PerformSync() I don't know if that helps or not. Can anybody tell me what I should do for it to work? Thanks. |

You'll have to contact the developer, since we didn't make that application.

For the last poster, I had this problem and solved it by resetting the synch database. Right click on Toodledo synch tray icon > Options > Recovery Tab > Enable > Reset Synchronisation Database.
Hope this helps. |

Thanks for the advice about the reset synch database. It seemed to work for me. Before doing it I renamed any task in Outlook which I was at all worried about losing, just as a precaution. That way I didn't get any wrong-way overwriting. But it all worked fine.

For me resetting the database hadn't worked at first, but then I deleted all my outlook tasks (as they were already there at some other place) besides resetting it, and it worked from there.

Thank you pdodjo. I looked all over the Net for a solution to my Outlook sync problem, but was able to fix the problem within 10 seconds with your help. Thanks again!
