Vertical tabs possible with Chrome?

Is there a way to get tabs listed vertically using Chrome? That is, instead of tabs listed across the top of the page, have them listed down either the right or left side of the page.

I know this can be done with Firefox and some greasemonkey scripts; but can it be done with Chrome?

Thx!

Hej,

Chrome 4 fully supports GreaseMonkey Scripts. Did you try to install the user.js file?

Cheers

Could you please direct to this kind of script for Firefox? How do I search for it? A simple URL, I hope I can fix the rest myself.
Thank you.

Quicker than fast, sorry for the alarm, found it myself.

I still have to ask, how do I enable the script which is downloaded but not active. The Greasemonky icon is enabled, the Toodledo is skinned with "Things" like script but the tabs are still horizontal and above the list of tasks as usual.

Is it possible to enable/dissable script for script?
I've looked in the menus but couldn't find the way.
Thanks very much.

Progress! Your post helped me a lot as I wasn't sure if I had a greasemonkey problem or a script problem.

I did try installing this script http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/35249 which I'd used before in Firefox, but it didn't do anything. No errors on installation, but no effect either.

Reading a bit more I came across this forum post
http://www.toodledo.com/forums/3/2304/0/greasemonkey-firefox-script-for-auto-show-subtasks.html
and realized I had the same problem. The @include line in the script was for "http://..." ; but as a pro user, I'm always in "https://..." mode.

I found the user.js and manifest.json files for the script under my Chrome user folder...
D:\Documents and Settings\(myloginid)\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\hfdielppjjinejlmlbkkmgeioephdjde\1.0
...opened them in Notepad and changed the @include line from "http://..." to "https://..." ...but it didn't change the way the folders display when in "https://...." mode.

However, if I use http://www.toodledo.com/views/folder.php ...the script works just fine....the folders display down the left side of the page as desired. Further, if I go into the Chrome Extensions menu, I can toggle the script enabled/disabled and so change the way the Toodledo folders display on the fly.

Do you know how to get the script to work in "https://..." mode?

Thx!

Okay...to answer my own question (trust me, I'm a novice at this, so any advice is welcome)...I uninstalled the script mentioned above...downloaded the *.js file to my hard disk...opened it in Notepad and changed the @include line from "http://..." to "https://..."...then dragged it onto the Chrome extensions tab whereupon Chrome gave me the option to install the script...which I did.

Now it works when I'm in https://... mode (which I prefer for obvious reasons)! Cool!
