Title should read,: "<2Do Meta> ... </2Do Meta>"
ThankYou for cooperating with 2do by filtering those out of notes. How do you feel with 2do apps users being able to use subtasks without paying for a pro account ? I think adding a <meta> field to task would help integration with 3rd party applications and spur innovation. I'd see my geolocation data going there. This message was edited Apr 27, 2010. |

This is news to me. We aren't specifically filtering 2Do. We filter out all unknown HTML/XML from notes for security reasons. 2Do should not be adding html/xml to notes. I am surprised that they didn't test this before implementing this behavior because it wouldn't work.
If a third-party wants to store custom data in a task's note, they are welcome to do so, but they shouldn't use XML to do so. A simple workaround for 2Do would be to url_encode the xml before adding it to the note, and then url_decode it when retrieving it. You should let 2Do know that they have a bug. |

Well it's always been working perfectly, user of 2DO can use sub-tasks and more advanced stuff without a TD pro account.
Except we see added crap on our notes in the web view, I hope I'm not learning you this. |
