I have noticed that when i email a link to my "secret toodledo email address", URLs or phone numbers contained in the notes section are useable. In other words, I can click it and make a call or go to the website immediately.
I have tried entering a URL and phone numbers in the notes and task name field, but found unuseable links and phone numbers.
Have I overlooked something? If this functionality is not yet supported, let this post be my toodledo feature request.

P.S. Toodledo is currently my favorite iPhone web app!

Entering URLs into the notes field should definitely make a clickable link. The url needs to start with an http:// in order to be recognized, so maybe that is the problem. As for phone numbers, thanks for the suggestion. When you email the task in, Apple must already be decoding the phone numbers into clickable links. We currently do not do this for phone numbers entered in by hand, but we will considering doing this in the future.
