There is no keyboard shortcut for going to notebook and most importantly for adding a new note.
This is very unfortunately as the keyboard is what I often use for writing notes. Thanks for the suggestions. We can't comment on a timeframe for implementation, but these are on our to-do list.

I tried flagging you as "Made of whine," for example, but it didn't go through. It worked when I filled out a support ticket though.
