I like using quick search which is very handy, just think it can be enhanced by being able to search globally, then I don't need to jump to the search view and choose my criterion before having the result, also wonder why no global search even under the search view?

The new searches you make under the search view are global. They're based on the criteria you select, but they search based on that criteria globally.
Having a quick search that quick searched all your task titles from any view, in addition to the current quick search that searches the present view with filters, would be nifty. |

It seems to me that Boxin is referring to a search of all fields simultaneously.
