Add task via Google calendar

In Google calendar I click on the green check mark to see tasks for that day. If I add a task it does not make the new task I'm adding due on that day.
If I can see tasks for just that day when I add a task it should automatically be for that day.

Thanks for the suggestion. We can't comment on a timeframe for implementation, but this is on our to-do list.
