Why Can't I find Tags?

Sorry, it must be me, but I have been reading about tags in the forum but can't find how to access them. I have read about "tag view" but my "View by:" shows only Main, Folder, Due Date, Priority, Sharing, Search, and Calendar. I have looked carefully at all the fields I see when adding a task. I don't get it.
Someone care to help a slow and dense guy out?
I have a pro subscription.

You need to enable tags in your account settings, under "Fields used".
