How to move a subtask

This may seem stupid, but they won't move. I get the proper icon, it drags, but it won't stick (reorder). I can outdent a subtask to a task but can't reorder.

What am I missing? Tried in FF and Chrome for Mac.

It should work - does for me in FireFox.

Check that you have set the option in Account Settings. Under Subtasks, select:
Sort nested subtasks manually by drag and drop

...and you should be able to drag and drop.

Wow... It wasn't enabled. For some reason I assumed this was not something I needed to enable.

I did the same exact thing. The question comes to mind, why would you not want to enable the ability to order the tasks? Should this be an option and if so, is this the correct default?

Oh my gosh, this feature was added!! Praise be to the Heavens above!!

Now I can finally ditch Things!
