I am trying to install the latest version of Chromdrake's Toodledo's Outlook sync client, but keep getting an error during installation. It says:

"Error 1001: Ecall methods must be packaged into a system module"

I searched the developers forum and couldn't find anything on this error. I have made sure that Windows Installer Services is running, but that didn't help.

Anyone have any ideas about how this can be fixed?

did you shut down and uninstall the old version first? That is the most common installation issue. Try uninstalling/ rebooting and reinstalling the software.

If that doesn't help, a 1001 error usually indicates an issue with your .NET framework installation. Try repairing that and make sure that you have all the lastest service packs and windows updates applied.

installing the latest version of the .net framework did the trick! Thanks.
