Is there any setting to avoid this issue. This requires me only to acknowledge this request to sync. Eric

I don't bite and I'll usually respond to your mail within 24 hours. That being said, it looks like you have found a bug, arkin. There is something about the task [Financial - Credit - Gary: Renew Fraud Alerts] that is causing the application to choke. From looking at the code the most likely culprits would be an issue with the start date or the due date, but that is a guess. try tweaking some values for this task to see if it makes a difference. keef

Framework 2 Service pack is installed. Interop Assemblies for 2007 are installed. How do I copy out the event log or find the trace log to help you help me?

I fit is not there then the application is not even getting close to starting up. You were right I had non-alphanumeric characters in my categories which I have removed. I also removed any "[", "]" and "#" from my task subjects. I reset all tasks in Toodledo service as well as the todo app. Forced a full manual sync. However, it gets stuck synching tasks in between. The trace information for a few lines before the error message should show which task.
