I think the idea is to edit the task and close the window, but please let the click.to developers know about your feedback.

We've had similar feedback from some of our other partners(where a new session is opened with each action), although alot of users like the new session for every new click.to note, we are looking for a solution to satisfy all of our users.
Maybe in the future you will be able to select which option you'd like to use.
